First sighting this season of an Orange-crowned Warbler in our back yard. It was taking a bath at the bubbler. Meanwhile, three male Northern Cardinals, including Lefty, were taking turns at the mixed nut feeder.
A Yellow-throated Warbler was back in our yard this morning, this time on the suet feeder:
In the early afternoon, I saw the first American Robin of the season in the back yard:
In the afternoon I went to Nathan Krestul Park. I saw seven Hooded Mergansers (two male, five female), an Osprey, two Red-shouldered Hawks, a dozen White Ibis, several Red-winged Blackbirds, an Eastern Phoebe, an Eastern Bluebird, a Yellow-rumped Warbler, a Palm Warbler, a House Finch, a Downy Woodpecker, a Red-bellied Woodpecker, a Little Blue Heron, a Great Egret, and a Belted Kingfisher.
