Stopped by Nathan Krestul Park on my way to see Gram today.  Saw ten Hooded Mergansers, a Great Egret, a Little Blue Heron, three Wood Ducks, a Pied-billed Grebe, and a Belted Kingfisher.  The mergansers, ducks, and grebe were all extremely skittish.  The Belted Kingfisher enjoyed her usual success diving for fish.

Later in the afternoon a lone American Robin showed up in my back yard. After a short pas de deux with a Northern Cardinal, it took a bath in the bubbler.  Still no Goldfinches.  The Hermit Thrush continues to make cameo appearances, usually to take a quick bath in the bubbler, and Yellow-rumped Warblers and a Ruby-crowned Kinglet are still hitting the feeder with the mixed nuts.
