Stopped by Nathan Krestul Park on my way home from work today.  Spotted this Prairie Warbler:

This morning a little before dawn I walked to Nathan Krestul Park.  The early birds–an Osprey, a Great Blue Heron, and a Belted Kingfisher (male)–were all after fish.

In the afternoon, Gram and I saw this Great Blue Heron at Westminster Woods:

On Saturday I heard something thud against one of our back windows.  It was a Red-eyed Vireo, quite stunned.  I sat by it for about ten minutes, until it gathered its senses and flew away.
