Three hummingbirds–two Broad-tailed Hummingbirds and one Black-chinned Hummingbird–are still making appearances in our backyard.  Here’s one of the former:

Today I co-led, with David Suddjian, a Denver Field Ornithologists trip to the Wheatridge Greenbelt.  We heard Blue Jays everywhere we walked.  We saw Mallards in every body of water we looked at.  But we didn’t see a single warbler.  It’s as though fall migration weren’t happening.  I took few pictures.  Here are a couple:
